Default Clearing out my fogs

Hey guys, i have clear fogs with the yellow bulb, i read that people just break that bulb to get clear light coming out. reason why i want to do this is because i purchased 6000k hid kit and they light coming out is a bright green!! haha. I want the white light though, don't really care about the classic lexus look.

If i do break these bulbs, are there any issues i might run into?

im confused.

you got yellow fogs? the yellow fogs have a clear bulb...surrounded by a yellow colored glass tube inside the fog unit to make it shine yellow.

sounds like you want to break the yellow glass tube. am i right? if so, then the hardest part is breaking the yellow glass into small enough sizes to shake out of the bulb socket opening without damaging your front glass.

ya its the yellow tube around the bulb. The actual fog light is clear. Anyone have instructions on how to do this properly, and are they any consequences to doing this?

No consequences, just shove a screw driver n there to break the yellow tube into small pieces and then shake them out of the bulb hole , just dont ram the front glass or you might chip it or worse

Might be easier to find someone that's willing to trade... But popping them with a screw driver will definitely work.

u can easily trade it off for someone that wants the yellow fog and save you the hassle of breaking the yellow part and might damaging the fog light. you can probably get some extra cash.
