GTE VVT-I Speed Cut
Still got this freaking speed cut issue that I can't get rid of. I got the Greddy Speed Cut Eliminator wired in and tried all the settings, nothing works. I'm thinking about just cutting the speed sensor and installing a digital speedometer. Anyone got any ideas?

Is it hitting cut at 112mph?
If so the only one I know of that works for these is the HKS SLD Type 2 - I have one in mine and it works - think it has 9 or 10 wires connected?

If this is any help this is the diagram for the SLD Type 2:
I think from what I've heard (haven't had to ***** or the room to take it all the way) there is an additional limiter at around 160mph on the autobox itself if you're using that?
The switch settings you want are SA-3 in the diagram above.

I've tried all the dip switch combos non of them are working. I can't be sure of the wiring though, because I didn't install it. The instructions came in Japanese. And the only thing we could get from Greddy USA was the dip switch settings.

Do you know how many wires are connected?
I know on the VVTIs from what I've read they don't work with the 3 or 4 wire delimiters, it has to be one such as this SLD Type 2.

That's probably got no chance of ever working then I'm afraid, the 4 wire ones worked on the non-VVTI but then they changed to a different system from what I read?
Your best bet is pick up an SLD Type 2 - these things get scary fast at high speeds!
