Question GS430 Navigation Computer Question

I have an 02 GS430 with navigation and want to add a backup camera to the car. I have found one that will work but I am not sure what harnesses are for what on the computer in the trunk. Does anyone know what each harness is for?

Thanks!

CSH75 - What camera were you planning on using? I have not seen one that doesn't need a rgb video convertor.. Am I missing something?

To answer PMs that I've recieved..:

All parts except for the video converter can be purchased at any stereo shop,ebay,etc... Here is a list of parts I used for my setup.

- video convertor to stock screen (my setup - tvandnav2go) MAKE SURE TO BUY A PLUG N PLAY MODEL... I believe there was a group buy on these or somthing similar on Clublexus a while ago.

other equipment needed:
- wired FM modulator
- power inverter
- dvd player (i used a PS2)
- tv tuner (make sure to get a dtv tuner or HDtv tuner)
- video feed amplifier/spliter
- reverse camera
- video switcher (video convertor only allows for 1 input and 1 reverse camera input)
- some extra screens (I used premade headrests w/ 9.2 inch screens and a 7 inch screen for middle rear.
- wires, connectors, rca cables, etc...

The tvandnav2go I purchased was an universal unit. It was a pain cutting and splicing the oem wiring harness. It's best to get the plug n play.

You have to power your "tvandnav2go".. Find and tap the positive wire to the stock navigation wire and ground the negative (also ground the reverse camera negative at the same time).

Add your reverse camera. You will also need to feed the camera with power. You tap the positive wire to the reverse light bulb wire.

The other stuff should be simple to install.

Feel free to PM me if there are any other questions I might be able to answer.
