Other (more cost effective) for holes in trunk?

I might just have it done completely at a shop when I get my kit installed. I was just trying to save some $$$ and see if there was something that I could do on my own.
Should is pretty good though. It is the lexus recommended shop and actually is pretty fair with pricing and quality is pretty good.

when i went wingless with one of my other cars i used this small plug (sold at lowes or homedepot) that was almost flush with the car. since the car was black and so was the plug it matched pretty well.
you could always paint the plug yourself for the meantime and plug the holes. then when you feel like putting the wing again just pop them right out.

On as IS300 with a factory spoiler to replace with an ltuned flat wing spoiler, we removed the spoiler , placed tape around the holes as well as under the hole to make a floor.
Then filled the cavity with jb weld, then sanded them down as the jb weld natually will settle to a flat finish .
Then used touch up paint and clear on the spots and wetsanded them down and they blended very well. You can only see them if you know what you are looking for but 4 of the 7 were covered by the new spoiler anyway.

i got mine done with bondo, seems to be ok for now. had that on my last car and it was okay too.
i forgot about it to be honest, but if youre worried about it cracking just close the boot slowly by hand and 'click' it in at the bottom. it shouldnt need force to close

Well, I decided that I'm not going to (mainly because future wifey says I can't 'til after the wedding; 4/26/09) do anything with the trunk until May...I will just do everything at once...I am getting all my L-Sportline and all my TTE stuff painted and installed; I may just get the whole damn car re-sprayed depending if it is more cost effective to do it all. It will look TOTALLY different; something to look forward to other than the wedding/honeymoon. 
It just sucks I have to wait another 2 1/2 months though.

Yes , i place tape on the inside and around the hole on teh outside in order to sand it down to blend it.
For a quick fix it can;t be beat and JB weld is everywhere for $5 any parts sore even walmart.
It will not crack or change shape as it is as hard as steel when cured.
