Default The Finished Product

I have long wondered why people with the SRT or other type of SC kit on their GS would not put the engine cover back on. I always thought that the car would look more complete. I just thought that if you are gonna put the SC kit on, cut the engine cover so that it can be placed back on. I told "itsallgood" about this and I guess he had the same idea. So here is what the engine bay of an SC'd GS4 looks like with the cover on.

one more pic.

To me this looks more complete and not just some parts just bolted into the car. I think that cutting the stock cover would do well too.

Hmmmm... I guess I've always liked just looking at the engine itself. Here's that really cool mechanical piece that's putting all that power to the ground. Guess I'm weird.

I'm bummed by the move to these enormous shrouds of plastic that some companies put in the engine bay. Sadly some are actually functional in that they help guide the airflow for the cooling system and so you can't just pitch them without some consequences.

The SC kit itself looks good but I really don't like the intake filter (kind of ugly). But if it provides the max performace, everything is cool.

Though foam type filter sucks in general, I'd like to have HKS filter on the turbo kit. It really looks good together. Blitz forced induction kit also look beautiful.
