Default HELP!!! Correct Offset for a GS300

Bought some rims that came off a G35 Coupe - 8x5 with 245's up front and 10x5 with 285's in the rear - they stuck out a little and the back was shredding the tires to death - they told me the G35 and the GS300 have different offsets.....

what is the correct offset I should get on the staggered setup to have the rims not scrub and to be able to lower the car....

HHHHEEEELLLPPPP!!!!!

Thanks,
Ron

It's not the wheels that are your problem. It's the fat tire setup. Those tires are too wide, that's why your tires are shredding. Try 225 or 235 up front and 255/265 in the rear.

there is no 'correct' offset. it all depends on the overall look you are going towards.
however, infamous 1 does have a pt, tires are also a factor when lowering. which suspension are you on?

change out your tires... or shave your rear fenders and pull them slightly to fit.

My opinion: adjust fenders according to the wheel, not your tire. Specifications of a set of wheels can't be changed... tires can.

if your not to low go 255/35 on a 10.5 its working like a charm in the rear.. i got a 245/35 up from and i i got a 9 up front but i think ill be going 225/35 up front next time

if you are low go 255/30

I bought some ssr professors sp1 staggered for my gs from a guy that had a 350z with the brembo big brake kit.
My spec: 19x9 +31 fronts
19X10 +37 rears
They dont scrub because the offset is just right. So the 350z and g35 rims should fit if they have the correct offsets.
