Cars are not worth what owners think they are worth. They are worth what people are willing to pay.

I figure if this guy has a buyer at all he is lucky in this economy!
keep in mind, on a trade in he will be saving the tax on 11k, so it basically works out the same...gorgeous car though, clean

If hes not willing to budge on the price then you just walk away. When he doesnt get any offers in the next few weeks he will be glad to take your offer. If you get it for $14k I think thats a pretty good deal

I think your offer is pretty close to what should by the car. I would also say you wouldn't be over paying to be in the mid $14's if the car is right! I just picked up the same year GS430 with 54k miles. 2nd owner and clean carfax with absolutely no disapointments. Had to fly 350 miles and drive it back but it was well worth it! Here's a pic, Hang in there the deal will come! Found my car on Craigslist! Here is a helpful tool to find a car. Click on link, then scroll down once site mash screen is pulled up. It's already set with the GS search. It will combine all craiglist and ebay ads into one screen. Very helpful. Good luck.....

I bought my 2000 GS400 with 33,000 on it...a solid 9/10 for 16k. And I thought that was a good deal.

In this economy, that guy is going to sit on that car.

It is over priced.
I bought my 03 430 3 months ago for way less Canadian.
Yes i also agree that you should not buy a car today that you can't sell tomorrow for more.
