Default so i reset my ECU the other day.. & now i'm randomly having problems starting my car

there were two particular times where my car wouldn't start and i had to take the negative terminal out and then it started up

what could it be? my starter? or a terminal problem? i know it's not my battery

Did your car crank? Or attempt to? If so, might be the starter.

Do the lights come on? Does the sound work? Might not be the battery.

Take a video. Gives us a better look

You probably didn't have the clamp on tight enough, and your starter wasn't getting enough juice. It happens.

corrosion on the terminals? did you happen to over torque your terminals? if so, it may be loose. do a wiggle test.

take the terms off the batt.. wipe/sand down the terms n then apply the anti-corrosion spray.. put the terms back on the batts and tighten so it doesnt move.

Be more specific... What sounds does it makes? Can it crank over?

bought some corrosion cleaner and cleaned the terminals off again.. let's see if this does the trick (although i'm pessimistic)..

what if it's the alternator? how would i know?

alternator should generate power for the car. I believe the battery is only used to provide power to start up...

the ground was definitely loose.. over-torqued more than likely

bought the metal brush and cleaned terminals.. corrosion spray and gel.. re-tightened and did the wiggle test.. the car has been fine the past two days.. so i'm knocking on wood
