Default problem with locking doors from key

So i just recently replaced the battery on my key to lock and unlock the doors, and for some reason when i locked the doors, it locked all the door besides the drivers side door. Then a little while later, this problem went away. Then i come to find out this is still an issue with the back right door. I cant figure out why its acting like this... maybe this problem will go away like the drivers door.. did i miss something??

Sounds like the door lock actuators will be going out soon if it's sporadic like that.

The cheapest I've found just the actuator for is about 220. I'm with augdogg on this one, "f-it". It forces me to unlock and open the door for my wife. She appreciates me a little more for it.

My front passenger door started that way. Would work sometimes and then it wouldn't. It made me think I was losing my mind. Also made me wonder how many times I left the car in a parking lot with the door unlocked, begging to be ripped off. I haven't had or heard of any window problems with the GS. I know what you're saying about BMW though. My brother in-law seems to go through a window motor a month on his X5.

That's a common on 2GS. When they're near death, they sometimes work. Or they may be working fine and quit all together. I replaced someone's actuator (3 of them) on the same day, but he didn't want to do the 4th door because it still looked good. Next day comes, I get a phone call of him telling me it died.
