Default How to replace front passenger side marker light on 2004 Lexus GS430?
I can't just replace the bulb, the entire light is cracked. I see I can buy the replacement part online for around $18, so if I can do it myself that would be excellent.

If anyone can advise me, I would be indebted for life.

jus two nuts behind the light..gotta move ur splash guard out of the way to get it off

Or just unscrew the fog lights and gain access from there.

Two screws that hold the foglight, and then stick your hand in there and you will find two 10mm screws 1 on each side of the side marker that hold it in place. There is plenty of room on the passenger side, but not so much on the drivers.

Thanks very much for the advice.

Do I also need to buy a new bulb, or does a side marker come with a bulb?

I hit mine on something, the orange part is shattered and the bulb no longer turns on. I want to fix that.

u need to get a new bulb cuz it usally just comes with the housing

abel where did u get your clears from? ne leaks? condensation? u still running that PIAA plasma ion bulb? these dont actually do nething but light up when the headlights are on right? off top head u know bulb #?

btw clears look good on your light gs

1. Ebay Clears.
2. I think there is a small leak because there is....
3. Some condensation but it goes away fast once the lights come on.
4. Yes, still running them.
5. They are just markers - no blink
6. PIAA Plasma Ion 168's I think

cool thanks. was thinking of getting clears and putting a LED in these but it seems EVERY with aftermarket ones has a leak and i dont wanna run a expensive bulb

OMG! ...buy the clear and plug the leak. Install the LED. BTW...mine doesn't leak.

mine leaks a little 2. but u can actaully put the leds. cuz their house in plastic. and theres no way for them to pop. if thats y ur thinking not to put one
