UPDATE: 3/07/09

Here are some pics of an unpainted cover. As you can see the cover mounts using the original mounting tabs as the OEM mirror. It has a two wire hook up so when your turning signal is off the LED's are also off, they only flash when your turning signal is also flashing.

Very nice! This is a good mod. So you work with the factory on this? Any chance of getting a Folding Mirror replacement like the Aristo for our US GS models? This would be an even bigger sell than this one.

That's not the 2GS cover is it? What happens when the LED dies out? THis is a very good looking cover btw.

I'm pretty sure you can switch out the LED colors.

Check out post #3 of this thread, The guy made a DIY on how to install but it was on a 3rd-Gen. I think he mentioned that there was soldering involved.
