2nd Gen GS Series Premium LED Mirror Covers are HERE

For the buyers that choose to have the painting service, please note that they can only be painted using the original Lexus factory paint codes. The same warranty will apply to the painted mirrors. Now if choose the painting service the mirror cover will be painted to your paint code, now since I only have control over my painting service and not the condition of your paint no refunds, returns, or credits will be given on painted parts. Its very hard to match the paint of a used car without having the car present.

Are right 2nd Gen GS owners your LED mirror covers "exchange type" are now in stock! This is something that I have been working on for some time now, both for my self and for other 2nd Gen GS owners.
Avaliable for 98-00 GS300 & 400
A unpainted pair starts at $179 or we can have them painted for only $70 more!
The painted mirrors come with a LIFETIME warranty.
The LED module comes with a 1 year warranty.
Each side mirror cover is made of durable ABS plastic and comes with integrated LED side indicator to increase visibility to other motorists when signaling. This LED mirror cover replaces the outer OEM mirror shell to an exact fit, just like the original factory part. Comes unpainted, or can be painted to match your original paint color, using the same OEM paint codes*. Painting service comes with a lifetime warranty. That warranty covers your painted mirrors against fading or loss of gloss, peeling, chalking, cracking and wrinkling for as long as you are the original owner.
Here's the brake down these are the exchange type that means that you replace the outer OEM mirror shell with LED mirror cover. They fit just like an OEM part.
I will be adding this over in the Vendor Marketplace later tonight.

Here are some pics of an unpainted cover. As you can see the cover mounts using the original mounting tabs as the OEM mirror. It has a two wire hook up so when your turning signal is off the LED's are also off, they only flash when your turning signal is also flashing.

Now I don't have to do side marker mods...these will look good and will function as the side blinker. COOL!
Does it have puddle light? I don't really care bout it though. Please post pic of it without the lights. I also wanna see how much the lens are flushed.

Those look great.....I have a DIY for this in the 3gs section, it is probably quite similar doing the swap....this will give you an idea of what these things actually are, I bought mine from somewhere else but similar concept....

Wow this is GREAT news!!! I really hope they have the puddle light...I'm anxiously awaiting the answer

they don't have the puddle light. Now the reason for this is that when I got together with the factory they had the same problem that other manufactures have had the GS 98-05 mirrors really don't have that much space because of the internal mechanism. It would have to have been rigged on.
The look that I was going for was something that looks OEM, works like an OEM part. I didn't want something that was hacked together. Now if your car does have the OEM puddle light them it maintains that function.
I wanted it with the puddle light but I wasn't willing to sacrifice the quality of the over all part just have something rigged on.
I should have good detailed pictures very soon, as soon as I have them I will post for every one to see. If you have any other questions please ask.

For sakataj and others, this probably explains the slight "bump" you saw in the bottom of Nigel's side mirrors as he had to add the LED strip for the puddle lights. It makes sense now.
I really wanted the puddle light feature more than the side blinkers to be honest, but I may still get these.
I have an opinion question...would it look weird to slightly smoke that clear strip on the mirrors? With my car being so dark the side mirror blinkers will really stick out so I have been thinking about smoking them to a light grey- enough to still stand out but less so than the silver. Thoughts on that? Am I a weirdo?
