Tail lights are fine you dont have to upgrade. Good choice on the exhaust tips as well.

You guys might enjoy these pictures. This was the progress of one of the wheels.

Before air-sanding the curb mark:

Overall dullness of the lip:

Air sanding has begun on half of the curb mark:

Almost done with the sanding:

Sanding with sandpaper (probably at 2000grit stage; don't remember):

Hand application of polish on inner; machine on outer part of lip. I could not get the polishing pad to maintain a good contact with the inner part of the lip:

Lip polishing is almost complete. About to start on wheel face:

Result of machine-applied Menzerna Intensive Polish, Final Polish II, Poorboy's Blackhole Glaze, and hand-applied cheap Meg's Gold Class wax:

Close-up:

All the pictures are straight off the camera. I was thinking about taking the wheels apart to get them 100% flawless. But that would have taken way more time. I am happy with how they turned out; without having to take them apart.

I love the DIY wheel refinishing. Iforged wheels have no clearcoat on the lips right? It must be hard to keep them shiny.

You are correct. IForged wheels do not have clearcoat on the lips. That is both a pro and con. The pro is: no worries on the clearcoat failing (which happens a lot). The con is: oxidation. However, if you polish them once in awhile, they should be good. Takes only a few minutes. On all of my previous wheel sets, I have always removed the clearcoat and repolished; mainly due to failure.

Wow, results look great. I need to polish my lips as well, is it safe to just use mother's billet and/or mother's polish/wax to do this?
