Just pull the old one and replace with the new one. It has a clip on the fuse box...and the relay itself has clips on both sides.
I mean, worse comes to worse, I can run out and buy LED signal bulbs for the front. Not a big deal

looks something like this:

you will lose confirmation blinker when you lock the doors with your remote however youwiill still get the beep.
Thanks Sam430, this is the EXACT info I was looking for. I will be ordering the relay sometime this week as well.

I assumed your reason and you verified. I think the availability of these relays has not been that widely known since many continue to recommend resistors.

edit: just saw the one sam430 posted, i will be ordering tonight
Please let us know how this relay works out for you. I haven't seen your sequential signals so that would be nice to see as well.

Funny shhet, yes after the fact. But the 4 hours that the shop spent locating the problem (on top of what I tried) was not cool. I am lucky I have good friends that help me out or this could have cost a bunch more than that. Plus, no lamp out icons on the dash now.

except better

RMMGS4 - I have a video at home but it is 170mb's. I will try to convert it to a smaller format and post it up.

I think that is the problem too, that too many people look for the "common" fix.

On the sylvania bulb chart it says the turn signal is an 1156 bulb. Can anyone clarify?

EDIT: I just checked myself and it is a 7440, sorry I doubted you sam430

I have the same relay on my LS and it works great for having LED's on all 4 corners. I have had it for about a year and cost $6 on ebay from HK .
Never checked for alarm blinking as i have an aftermarket one anyway.

anyone replaced this relay? If so can you take a pic of it in position or take a pic of the relay it replaces? I got to the fuse panel and there are 2 relay side by side, I think it is the one that is towards the front of the car, but it is about half the size of the relay pictured above. Can someone help me locate this relay?
