Default I have a fan out..can i get some help...?

My left side fans out (facing engine bay). Is it possible I can replace the fan w/o purchasing a whole new unit? Aftermkt maybe? Junkyards a distant possibility i've considered but unlikely. Please chime in...thx ahead

did you check the fuse or the relay? a fan assembly should run you about $20 at junkyards. it's easier to change out both fans than to just replace one fan. if you're really into DIY you can just replace the motor on the fan.

thanks, i mailed a couple places i found and hope i get a response. It's not the relay or the motor unfortuately. See somehow i managed to pick up an oil dipstick from off the road and it went right into my fan (suppose riding low had anything to do w/ it? ..) Id say i was lucky though. anyways, the online shops are charging $280ish for the the fan assembly...
