Interested in what everyone's opinions on this matter would be. I wanna pick up some LED Mirrors and though that black would be kinda cool on a Black/White scheme.

I wouldn't do it, you can request someone do a photoshop for you and you can see exactly what it will look like

It probably sounds good in your head. But I don't think it will translate in the final product.

Personally, I feel a black roof and wheels is sporty and purposeful. Black side mirrors will always make the car look like its unfinished.

The black roof is fine, although lots of people have done that. I would just do the black vinyl overlay. Its about the same price to have that done as being painted, but at least you can take it off when its time to sell the car or you get sick of that look.

I wouldn't do the black mirrors though. It will look like your mirrors got knocked off with a baseball bat and when you replaced them you didn't have enough money to have them painted .

Fair enough, i guess it would be over the top. You guys think red brake calipers would be a little over the top too?

If they are OEM brakes then yes, bbk red is ok. I would paint them black if they are oem

I dont own the car yet, looking to get it bythe weekend/monday. The car is a 2gs4 With black roof and painted mercedes alpine white i guess. I wonder if the Lexus Crystal white is similar? Say if I got the LED mirrors would the colors be really off....

i have a black roof and love the way it sets the car off ive seen white 2GS with black wheels as well and it looks good.. the only thing im kinda skeptical about is the black mirrors.. but hey it could work

I don't think the black mirrors would look good either, just order them unpainted and take them to a body shop who can match them to the paint on the car.

BTW, mjkenji, I think that's the first time I've seen your car, looks amazing!

The only car I know of that can pull off the black mirrors, black roof, and black spoiler without looking unfinished is the NSX/NSX-R. It just works on that car for some reason.
