dunno, i bought a plethora of v-led's back in the day. i just found some i liked and used them...for reliability not so much as matching

never said they did john, never even said they matched although these are pretty close. we should PM micheal and ask him to repost his photos since this is his thread

Well, I ended up ordering some 5000K LEDs from V-LEDs. They are scheduled to be delivered tomorrow, and I will give them a try. This is the ones I ordered - http://www.v-leds.com/Interior-LED-B...-p9766180.html

I think I've found a good match (not v-leds).

Pics to follow when it gets dark out.

There it goes. The drivers side has a 5000k LED from V-LEDs. Their 5000k is actually more blue than a 6000k CREE flashlight that I have, so I'm not very impressed with their product.

The passenger side has a 4000k bulb that I found. Its a damn near perfect match - the only trick is its sold with G4 base and I had to modify it to become T10, which is a real easy task, takes under 5 minutes.

Hell no, those are the 2GS signature look, along with yellow fogs

These 4000K bulbs that I found are the same exact tint that warden_jp used to carry back in 09 - they are as close to 4300k HID as it gets.

if you swap to led for the drl does it throw an error code or is that only if you do the led swap that uses the high beam as a drl?

Just to make sure we need the T10 base/9005/194 replacement for our DRL's? I'm confused lol
