Question Clear Bra?

Hello Guys, Its been a while since i have posted but i am still here. A lot has gone on with my GS but its still running.

I have some new things about to start for the next 12 months & i won't be driving it for a while except to get the necessary items repaired or replaced.
They are mainly maintenance items, ball joints, motor mounts, tie rod ends, control arms & fix the check engine light codes.

I also plan to freshen up the body, new front bumper with TTE lip, roof spoiler & a respray.
Also I am going to sell the SSRs to go up to 20's possibly Maya RTS

My question is do they still make the clear bra for the 2GS? After i replace the front bumper & have the car painted i would like to have this installed to possibly save my front end.

Pics of this installed (I know it will be hard to see) would be great.

Thanks

a body shop, or yourself for that matter can cut to fit, if they do not make a specific one for the 2GS.

my friend did this with his G35...loves it! alot of highway driving and no front end rash

www.mobilehid.com

Look to the side, they have a section on that. They're one of our vendors.

I had it on my car about approximately 3 years (3M brand I believe it was), it did serve it's purpose as I drove down to Toronto, Canada a few times and came back w/ no starches

However, I got my entire car re-painted over last fall and when they removed the clear bra at the body shop it did peal off part of the paint... As I was told it would not affect the paint if you ever took it off

Dude,

If the question is to get one or not.......Get it. Cover everything. It will not turn yellow. Although I have a silver GS 430. It will save your paint job. In fact, its not even worth repainting your car and not getting one as the 2nd paint job is never as good as the OEM paint. You cannot see it except for a slight line on the hood which is better than your GS looking like it got hit by a machine gun storming the beaches on Normandy. Get it.

I have it on my platinum GS430. It came with it and folks that I've talked to have mixed feelings with the paint fading vs zit face look.

Since its already on I'm going to leave it. I have the 3M brand on it and the previous owner paid $500 to add it on so no sense on letting go to waste.

Good luck!

I just had a custom install (hand cut) on my IS a few weeks ago. I'm crossing my fingers that it won't peel the paint when removed. I guess only time will tell.

I figure it has to be better than all the paint dinks and chips that will surely accumalate over the years if I didn't install it though.

Again, only time will tell.
