Very nice.... I was wondering if it was glass or pastic... The RX has that same crap in there too.. I have been wanting to take it out and now I might give it a shot.....

hey superjoe i was wondering when u used the soldering iron u just sorta cut into the amber part in order to break it right?

Right!!!

But I didn't use a soldering iron....I just used a dremmel.

Can someone please explain the cutting with the Dremel tool again. I don't understand the area your supposed to cut.

I can't really explain it to well....well I'll try:

When you take out that Gray long socket and if you look inside you'll see and amber-orange disc, well that's what you have to cut into about 4 pieces with the dremmel....once you look through the hole where the bulb goes in, it's on the left. Once it's cut up try to break it with a screwdriver so that the pieces are loose..not attached to the housing or attached to each other, then just shake it up and pull them out with some needle nose pliers.

nope, there's about a half an inch gap between the amber lens and the clear lens.

HOW did you get in there with a dremel tool...it's sooo small! what tip? Also how hard did you hit the yellow thing to brake it? Because I am trying and it's just pushing it in, towards the front...
