Some one wanted me to bring this back up....here you go.
Good Luck!
If anyone wants me to do this mod for them, I will for free, if they don't mind sending me the lights and paying for return shipping.

I was thinking of doing this since the JP tails are clear..thoughts...I would do it the hard way
No condensation in my headlights, so I don't want to pull them apart

What happens if you break the orange lens but the chunk is too big to fit through the exit? That would suck. I guess I have to do mine too. Now we just need the bulb size.

You'll have troubles with big chunks, but small chunks are hard to get out as well.
You might need to keep shaking the lens and use a vacuum hose to suck em out.
Instead of cracking the disk, I just prefer baking the whole assembly and then the amber will just pop right out clean. This way there won't be dust particles all over the inside of the lens either. A friend who did the break out method , watched me do the baking method and he said he would rather do it my way next time.
I have pics I could show how to do this, but I think it's been covered before.

When you bake the headlights, the melting temp of the glue is much lower than the plastic housing, so it gets very soft like gum.
So when you bake for 10-15 min, you pull the lens apart making sure to keep the glue in the joints instead of loosing it.
When you are ready to put back together, the parts are assembled as much as possible then bake again.
After 10 min, take the lens out and compress and screw the lens back together and make sure the glue is being compressed back the same way you took it out.
I am oversimplifying the process, but that's it.
This is not causing the condensation issues that people talk about. I won't get into why, but this is not the reason for that problem.

Yes, I had no luck trying to cut the orange lense out. I had started to do so with a dremel and a drill bit and realized that shavings were going everywhere in the headlight housing!! Sure enough, I had to "bake" and open the headlight to remove all of the shavings which I should have done in the first place as it only took an extra 30 minutes! You make the call on which way you would rather have it done.
