Sorry to resurrect a dead thread. I have a couple of lights out in the headlight assembly on the driver's side of the car. I decided to take the whole assembly out since I have big hands and CANNOT fit them into the hood to swap the lamps otherwise. I've gotten the first six bolts/screws out and am trying to get the seventh. There seems to be some sort of reservoir behind the driver's side foglamp that is preventing me from getting to that seventh screw/bolt.

Is there some trick to getting it from that side? Incidentally, it's a 98 GS300 that I'm working on.

Thanks in advance!

Just wanted to give this thread a bump, it just saved my a lot of time and frustration. Installing some fresh new lights as soon as it stops raining!
