Default Which Fuse Did I Blow?

Ok guys I honestly haven't searched around for this since I'm at work so I have to try to make this quick. This past weekend I was changing my license plate LED lights, and somehow retardedly touched metal to metal on one of the connectors and saw a spark, and now my license plate lights and front parking lights are all out. I tried going into both fuse boxes (the one on the Driver side and the other on the passenger side) to see which one i should replace but I don't know which one it is? Can anyone help me with this? Has anyone done this before lol ...

Did you check your Owners Manual for the fuse location yet?

i was in my owners manual this weekend to change my fog fuse (drivers box fuse 2) and i think owners manual said there are 4 fuse boxes....2 under hood and one inside on each side...

OP check owners manual for verification of which fuse(s) u need 2 check

I just took a look at the diagrams and it appears both the License plate lights and the parking lights hook up to the 10A "TAIL" fuse in the left kick panel. If this fuse is the issue your front side markers should be dead also as they go to that fuse as well.

Wow thank you !! This would make sense since I just realized that when I turn my lights on, the tail lights will not turn on unless i hit the brakes. I'll check into this as soon as I get home. Now what's the easiest way to take out and replace the fuses? I'm guessing pliers since the fuses are so small and sunk in there?

You can get the fuse remover from the fuse box next to the battery. Use that to remove it.

I learned to love it. LOL, imagine you run a 4 gauage wire from the engine to the trunk with no fuse, LOL. When it get shorted...it'll catch fire. With a fuse at the battery terminal...it gets cut off there.

H'bout all the wiring mistakes ppl make...I recently did a stereo install then i touched two wires...thanks to the fuse it didn't cause a short somewhere else.

LEARN TO LOVE THE FUSE.
