I think the tint makes it just look like a stripe, also you must have reduced the output of your backup lights quite a bit. I would either go clear or do a red tint all over, that looks nice on all black.

I like it... It's different which in my opinion you get alot of props for being unique and not just doing what hundreds of others have done, and like they other guy said looks like the S-class Benzes out now...AND like you said, you saved money. Not all of us can afford, or want to pay that much for tails...

you could have put tin foil with flashlights for rear lights and it would have looked better on the white GS as the car is hottt.
It is not bad blacking out the tails but you should get a light tint film to smoke the rest of them as well to give it an even tone.
Or light smoke the whole tails so you will still have a reverse light.
Reminds me of the new S class from mercedes with the paint strips.

It looks awkward to me. Looks like a piece of Gorilla tape across the center of the tail lights. The tint you used is too dark IMO. Maybe try redoing it but with a lighter shade of "smoke." Or keep the turn signal and reverse light darkened like that but maybe lightly "smoke" the top and bottom red portions of the tail lights? Just an idea...
