My 01 GS is still on the original battery as the previous owner said he never replaced the battery and the car was only a few years old when the previous owner bought it so I don't think the original owner replaced it either. It needs to be replaced now as it is not holding a charge very long when the car is not driven for a few days but it is still impressive. The battery in my old Eclipse lasted 7 years and was often left to sit for over a month. None of the batteries were high end expensive ones either.
