NEWS UPDATE!!!

The car was considered totaled out according the the adjuster, but after telling my repair guy I really wanted to keep the car, he convinced the claims adjuster to give him the business of repairing it! (They're friends apparently) The adjuster couldn't believe it only has 75,000 miles on it for a 98! hah. He said it was like a brand new car, minus the damage.

The car only suffered cosmetic damage thank god. No chassis damage what so ever! I really got lucky here considering the car's only worth about 9k and the damage of the accident was over 7k. I just have to pay my deductible which is 1k and my baby will be back as good as new by the end of the month!! I can't wait!

Till then I'm rollin in a Toyota Avalon which isn't all that bad. It get's me from point A to B.......slowly lol

Unfortunately my insurance doesn't cover all the after-market stuff I had on the rear, so it will be returned to stock form I've already ordered new led tails which the shop will be installing. Now the hunt is on for an after-market bumper that matches the l-tuned sides/ tte lip combo I've got. Anyone got anything lying around they want to get rid of??

Thanks for all the comments and concern guys. I was really afraid I was gonna be leaving the community for a minute, but it looks like I'll be sticking around for a lonnggg time.

they should be paying for oem tails to make the car driveable, that should pay for your lights. and why are you going through you own insurance company if the other dude hit you?

Yea, your insurance shouldnt have been involved, IMO.
Get the shop to order the LED tails instead of the stock ones.

the guy who hit me has the same insurance company
