Yes.. the black can look so classy. the wrap is also a good idea to cover up a bad paint job...

I dont see anything wrong with my wood, but i would love to see your finished project? might change my mind, i was thinking of getting my a/c control and my aftermarket radio bracket painted black, dont know yet, unless your doing that too....?

The Black looks good but i personally like some Wood in my car. If i did my wood black it would make sense as my whole theme is White & Black

i was thinking about this the other day too, looks good!

the other idea i was thinking of is tint, could the wood be covered in either 35% or 20% tint to just darken the wood to look similar to the black wood? anyone tried anything like that?

Cjames235, thats sounds like a really good idea, however the only thing you've have to worry aabout are the scratches and scuffs you'll get , but darken wood, ...nice

Using tint is an interesting idea...But I think you would run into problems with the longevity of the finish (fading, bubbling, etc..) Also I think the center console would be tough to do with the angled curves

What he said^^^^ I rather paint the center console then tinted.

But i really want to see the black painted wood trim on the car from the original post.
