Front STB for 98+ GS300
I was wondering what brand would fit it perfectly w/o removing the engine cover. I've seen ppl with TRD that adds a spacer, and I've heard about TOM's and it doesn't fit very well. I've heard of this brand called carbing but I don't think that's readily available in US. And what about Cusco? Any comments/suggestions would be appreciated..

Even the UGO brace rubs w/o using spacers...you dont' want it to rub...
You know, if you REALLY like the look of your engine cover, just take the damn thing off and leave it in your living room...then you can look at the useless piece of plastic 24/7!

I have my engine cover off already...... Don't look better than the intake manifold
even TRD bar with spacers BARELY clears the engine without the cover...... I don't know how many you'll need to clear the cover.
Carbing barely clears the engine also.
Juran clears it well but still not enough for the cover.
Conclusion: If you want better handling, the plastic piece must go.

How much is the c-one? So that clears the cover no problem? Well, I don't mind taking off the cover if I have to. But, I honestly think that it looks cleaner with it. Anyhow, I guess everyone would clear w/o the spacers with the engine cover off except for TRD rite?

...instead of sitting around and expecting everyone else to do the leg work, why don't YOU GUYS find out? Buy some STB's and see what works if you're so desperate to keep your engine cover on....

easy for you to say....STB fit your engine with the cover on!
You really think I should go out and buy $2000 worth of STB to see which one fits???? For something that really does nothing but look good? There are sooo many better things to buy if you are Really interested in good handling....

If you're referring to the STB as only something that looks good, then how much do you know about handling? You think the "more than look good" engine cover works better?

I want a STB because it looks good, correct....
Don't kid yourself about them improving handling sooo much...they are eye candy, they do help, but it's so small....

CSHFLW - Wow, you really don't know much about handling, do you? A front STB is a vital part of a good handling car...there's a reason why race cars have them....if they didn't offer much, they wouldn't put them on in order to save weight....
