I own a pearl white GS. The bumpers were repainted by the previous owner. Are the front and rear bumpers two tone, that is pearl on top and an off white below the chrome strip ( to match the side skirts and rockers) or are the bumpers all pearl white. I am repainting some new bumpers and need to know what is the correct scheme. Thanks for the help. jason

Color is all the same... there is no two tone for the pearl white... it's just the way the paint reacts with the polyurethane paneling of the car. I had the same thing happen to my car. The poly panels started yellowing/ becoming off-white... had it repainted. it is becoming yellow again... maybe now since I had an accident, I may just change the damn color to black!!! then there would be no fading. damn.. another 1500 out the door... anyway... hope this info helps... OH .. this fading/discoloration of the pearl white is well documented earlier on in the forums... maybe you should do a search... but answering your question again... just to reiterate.. just to redundantly repeat myself over and over again unnecessarily.just cuz I can and like to...
no.. there is no two tone in the pearl white color scheme in Lexus. it is all white. hope that helps!!!

hei no probs JP!!!
so wat u gonna do to yer car? This discoloration issue is pretty weird.. eheh... here on Guam, I've seen 3 white GS's with pinkish tones on the poly panels (they came from down south with the red ferric(iron) dirt) a couple of brown toned GS's and some with yellow tones... depending on where they live on the island... the dirt is colored differently in certain places... anyway.. that's gonna be the problem with the white GS. Yup!
