They would both work but IMHO opinion there are better options available.

im running focal 5 1/2 components. i pretty much junked the stock system (stock amp, stock speakers, stock tweeters, stock headunit, stock sub, stock cd changer) im sure they are still good, but i know my headunit's lcd display was going/gone.

so got the wiring kit to bypass the stock amp, stock double din mounting kit, front focal 5 1/2 components with the tweeter shoved in the stock location (relatively the same size so no major cutting to make it fit), rears are hertz 4" 2 ways, pioneer z2 w/ all the bells n whistles, rear jl10w1 in a custom sealed box mounted to the underdeck, jvc class A 4channel amp (fronts powered by the amp, and the rear off the dead, rear channel on the amp bridged to power the sub)

its a good enough setup, sounds crisp, not crazy bass (actually a little lacking, but will do for now), and i still got plenty of trunk space for luggage and golf clubs

if you are getting it at wholesale what brands can you get? since you are linking crutchfield I am thinking that you are paying the prices that you are linking. IMHO =In my honest opinion/in my humble opinion. I like Dynaudio one of the cleanest and best sounding that I have heard but there are many brands on the market all depends on how much you want to spend.

stock locations for the tweets are fine some tweets have holes on the back to screw them onto the stock bracket or if they don't just use an epoxy to glue them to the brackets and for 6.5s up front you will need something with a shallow depth or you will hit the window if i had it to do over again i would just go with a real nice set of 4 inch componets with the stock speaker boxes

Don't go 4" anywhere, you will have zero mid bass. Mb Quart PVI 216's would be a nice setup for front and rear. As far as install you are going to need a few tricks to get them in there.

1. Any decent 6.5" mid is going to be a close fit in the GS door but it will fit. You will need to fab up or possibly purchase a pre-fabed trim ring/spacer and/or fab up a baffle plate.

2. Most likely you will need to space the window tracks back a little bit to get the depth you need. You can do this by removing the 10mm bolts holding the track to the door frame at the bottom and using a spacer to set the track back the necessary amount to get the speaker/baffle combination to fit.

3. DYNAMAT!!!! The door MUST BE SEALED as much as possible. A good way to get a nice seal on the door is to take heavy duty duct tape and tape over all the large openings, you can then lay the dynamat nice and smooth across the whole panel and everything will be sealed. This is very important to get all the bass from your new speakers, people ask me if I have a sub my 6.5" Quarts hit so hard on the midbass.

4. If you aren't comfortable doing this work take it to a NICE install shop, not best buy, not circuit city, not your boy over at the corner stereo shop that says he will hook you up. You want a reputable shop that knows how to get the most out of your speakers. Trust me, it's worth it. (I was an installer for 6 years).
