wow, that is my biggest fear with my airbags! How many miles did it take to have it worn out like that? Can you imagine that popping on the highway

Crispy had the same problem and had to get it fixed by UAS. You're right though...it WILL happen again no matter how many times you replace it.

But that's the thing with 'universal' kits. They are perfect for some cars, but they're flawed for the 2GS

It almost looks like to me that something is rubbing in there. The hole looks too concentrated in one spot. If it was wear and tear over time, then the cracking would be spread over a larger area. Maybe your rim is riding against the bag?

Well yea they basically swapped bags and thats about it.

You're most likely rubbing against the knuckle arm. The lower you are, the closer that arm will come in contact with the bags. Not to mention, the bags will be wider.

Damn man im sorry to hear that.. That sucks i never realized there was any issues with rubbing at all. For the most part i hadnt heard any complaints about the uas bags.. Thats some good info to know though.. Hopefully uas finds a fix to it.. Is it possible its the struts you are using? I dunno how it would but if not that many other people are having that issue maybe its how it sits on the strut which makes it closer to the arms.. *shrugs*
