Anyone done this? What all is needed? One last question while I am here waht about xenon HID headlight assemblies? What is needed and what uears will work and what do I need to get off the donor car to complete. Thanks guys

You will need a new wiring harness, nav unit, headlamp assy's with all the computers. All that will cost I have looked into all this before and in the end it's such a big deal that unless you want to spend thousands of dollars and tear your hair out getting into the details, it's just not worth it. Get a Garmin if NAV is absolutely necessary and some silverstars. I personally don't believe in putting in aftermarket xenons as there are heat issues and headlight beam direction problems. I had a 98 and looked into all that, but finally bought an 01 with factory xenon to satisfy the need.

You can always go with a Xenon kit from XenonDepot. Steve is the man and will answer any and all questions that you have. They are also a board vendor and have some great deals right now. Just look up the gbs on forum.

For all the trouble you are going through to put in a factory nav, have you considered an aftermaket one? I wanted a nav in mine and just went with the Kenwood DNX8210. I never regretted it. I also have the Pioneer AVIC in my 4Runner. I like the Kenwood better because it is Garmin based and very user friendly and fast.
