I've limited my options. I can either get a 1999 GS 400 or a 2000 Audi A4 1.8T and do whatever I want to it up to $20,000.

Opinions?
I'm leaning towards the GS.

 

for pre-owned, GS for sure....

 

Like Will said this is a NO BRAINER the '99 GS400 + 20K in mods is the ticket!

 

Unfortunately I don't have that option. The 2000 A4 1.8T is alot cheaper than the 99 GS 400, so i take either a GS 400 with nothing. OR I can take an Audi A4 with Stage III Turbo with 350HP - two tone leather - bodykit - 18 rims - TV's and all that garbage. =]

But if i get he GS sure enough in about 4 months it will be rollin' on DEUCES.

 

I'm sorry maybe you all misunderstood me. Either I get a STOCK GS 400 or an A4 1.8t with $20,000 worth of any mods I want.

 

Definately go with the GS. I drove an S-4 not too long and the interior is so small. I believe it's the smallest in class. But also it did not ride nearly as smooth as the GS and definately wasn't as quiet. I know you were talking about getting the A-4 + $20k in mods so yeah I'm sure you could make it pretty fast but trust me overall you would be much happier with the GS.

with 20k in mods, A4 is still an A4.

Plus if you really just want a toy to play with then WRX is a much better choice.

 

Cool, Im gonna go witht he GS then. I just PMed some people who have a few for sale. I'm hoping one of them will be the real deal. Especially since I trust you CL men.

 

I too soon plan to get a Pre Owned GS400.

No way in hell i would get an A4. Those cars are not reliable. The lexus is one of the best reliable cars in the world.

And a hell of alot better looking
