This is the correct way to do it so you save on wires.
Unfortunately when I did this mod like 4 yrs ago...I didn't have a probe.
yes that is the correct way to do it. it is not so much about wasting wires. but it is one of the reason i got into doing what i do daily. it will bother me alot if ran the wire and it can be found under the dash. it is not as "clean" you know what i mean.
plus i gotta save room for more other wires i need to run. save as much room as i can. it will bother me somemore if the carpet is starting to get thick by the sills.
Doesn't go by the sills since it is through the rubber hose loom with the rest of the wires right into the cabin so it is less wire than you might be thinking.
Can't remember, but does the side markers on the front bumper blinks... I have the L-Sportline bumper and never reinstall them back in when I did the switch...If they blink I'm thinking I could tap into those...help fellows.
Any one has answer for blinker light wire to tap to? I am about to do mine.
Thanks.
For the Puddle lights, I tapped into the foot well lights, there are one on each side...For the blinkers I tapped into the rear tail light turn signal, my passenger side is working, but I have a Bad driver's side blinker, been in the process of trying to get a new one from Nigel...Hopefully, I can get a new one soon...
Here's what I did.. Puddle lights.. I tapped into the foot lights. Blinkers.. I tapped in the wires running to the rear on the floor of the drivers side and for the passenger side I had to run it to the blinker in the front (couldn't find a wire running to the rear).
