I have yet to hear a ported box that can hit as tight as sealed, but ported is more efficient hands down. Maybe when I do it I'll build both and see what I like.

Nice work. The only thing I miss about my old car is the XXX 18 in the trunk.

That's what's nice about a 4th order. It's a sealed box firing into a ported box. That way you get SQ of sealed and spl flex output of SPL with super smooth sound from the flared ends of the 6" aero precision port.

Yep Str8 VIP, every person that I've showed this to can't believe they are 10's.

Also Kyle Harty I give you props for fitting a XX18 in a trunk car. That takes some skill.

Here's another vid thats worth checking out, the sun reflection makes it look like a sound wave on a oscilloscope...

great idea having that port come through the sub hole. Never seen a box like that. I just finished making a box for my 3 tens and it kinda sucks, the thing is super long and takes up most of the front area of the trunk. I wish i could have made sumthin to fit between the wheel wells

I have a question? Would this box be smaller if only 1 10 inch sub were to be used.
I would like it to just sit on that upper level.
or even possibly 1 12 inch sub like a Diamond Audio D3
