Default Questions about GS 400

Hey all,

I have been looking at getting a new (used) car for the past few weeks and there are a few GS400s the same price as GS300s nearby. My roommate has an IS300 (camelflage) and the 300 uses the same engine so I have better info regarding that model in terms of maintanence, issues, longevity, etc. but I do not know the same stuff regarding the GS. I know the 400 is v8, but how long do they run? Do they have any known issues? Same thing regarding changing waterpump/timing belt at 90k as 300s? Etc etc. Please lay some knowledge on me!

Thanks in advance!

From everything I've seen, the 400 is just as reliable as the 300 I would expect the same basic maintanance. If you are not looking to boost down the road I'd go with the 400. The gas mileage is very close and it's got alot more power out of the box.
