See if any of u experts know about this. My new used GS300's a/c fan will not shut off at all when the car is on or when the a/c is off. Itdoes stop when the car is off. From my knowledge, the fan should stop at times and cycle thru. Any inputs would help thanks!

it might have been a thermostat or coolant temp sensor problem that someone tried to mask by hardwiring the fans. Definitely get that looked at. Not the worst thing in the world but unnecessary drain on your electrical system.

back in the old days cars were controlled by pressure switches and i would just say u had one stuck open but on the newer cars that are computer controlled i would think it could be a elctronic pressure switch or a expansion valve stuck open also.

did u not test drive this car?

what year gs is this btw? and model? u need to take it back to the mechanic who did your timing belt and ***** lap him for messing with your car. thermostat SHOULDN'T make the car stay on when its turned off....it seems like he wired it into something that always has a draw but that would be REALLY dumb as to why he would have done this. did he install a toggle switch in your car? if he did seriously punch him

get a new mechanic and don't ever go see him again.
