Default Need help my hid's keep flickering????

i was having an issue with my last pair of lights, the driver side headlamp would turn off. since they were old pair of lights i bought new one's. Now the new ones flicker more than ever what can that be? someone please help me

and yes i do have a relay kit, even thought there the knew digital ballast.

maybe need a resistor box for the ballast.

You need to connect everything properly and connect the relay to a good power and ground area.

i never used relay kit, my hids are working fine. maybe is ur connection? or ur ballast?

I had the same problem but only when the daytime running lights come on, I guess there wasn't enough juice to spark them up

i'm guessing aftermarket hid kit, what brand? what wattage? which model?

had the same issue with my oem hid.it kept flikkering then it would turn off.peformed diagnostic and found that my connector(the one that connects to the bulb had lots of rust in there.so i scraped it off and now it works well.hope this helps otherwise good luck.

If BOTH sides behave the same way, flicker at the same time, it is likely that you have a loose ground on the relay harness. Make sure you scrape a little paint off where your ground is, and use a star washer to keep things good an tight.

Power of course could be loose as well, usually what we see here is almost always a loose/insufficient ground
