Default Recommendation to replace stock HID

I did a search and really could not find what I was looking for. I am just looking for some recommendations to replace the stock HID's as I am having a problem with one of the bulbs. Where would be a good place to buy replacement bulb's, someone mention to pick up 6000k. Also if I have a bad ballast can that be easily replaced and where can I purchase one, or do I need a new headlamp. Any info would be greatly appreciated!!!! Thanks.
