Default Custom Wood Bezel

Hello Everyone,

I've decided to go with an Aftermarket Double Din Navigation unit for my 99 GS300. The aftermarket bezel that's out on the market comes in black and I'm trying to figure how to cover it with wood to match the rest of my extended wood trim in my vehicle. Any services out there where this could be done ? Or a DIY solution ? Any help is most appreciated.

Thanks for the help,
Al

All wood came from the factory... If I do not dip (treat) the aftermarket bezel it would look out of place. I'd have to take all the wood of the center console for it to look right and I'd rather not go that route. Anyway, thanks for the link, I've left them a message in regards cost.

I woodworker's specialty store should be able to match the type of (walnut?) wood we have in our car. They can order a sheet of veneer to finish and apply to the face of your dash. Then use a Dremel to open up the button locations. I saw another post on here where a guy did that--turned out pretty good.

I think I'm going to give Patterntek a try... I'm getting the Carson bezel and existing ashtray done for $125.
