I recently had all 5 windows tinted and I have the navigation system. This tinter supposedly knew what he was doing w/ regard to the nav. system but I am finding that I am regularly losing the satellites now. What can I do to fix it?

This is an old question. Not sure if you can find the thread by searching.
Basically, you have to cut the tint around the GPS antenna. At least in the 2000 model, the antenna is located in the back glass on the right bottom corner.
The old thread also had a photo.

I'm wondering if you could use a new antenna besides the one in the window?
BTW I have NAV and tint and I have no problems...

As far as another antenna... a thread showed how you could use a little clarion antenna in the front right dash.
