I am looking for a picture of some 98 gs3 headers. i saw the headers on a 2000 and they look nothing like mine. all of my buddies think that mine are aftermarket but Im not sure. i was thinking about getting some s&s headers but now Im not sure.

I do believe they are stock but the earlier years of the GS just didnt have a heat shield...


ive had a 98 GS300 and the headers looked like that and my 2000 gs300 was different, they are stock!!

Your header is the stock header. You can see the two factory cats. Your year GS header's runners do look like they are aftermarket though. I believe that is why the early year GS3's were rated at 225hp and the later years (I originally thought '01-'05 but you confirmed '00 are different) at 220hp. So I guess the '98 and '99 only had your type of manifold.

These aren't my pics but my header from my '02 GS3 is the same as this one from a '00 GS3.




BTW, S&S headers are only for the GS4s. I will probably have a Mazzuri header (biggest bolt-on gain for 2jzge) for sale soon, so keep your eyes on the classifieds if you are interested.
