Default lookign for advice

hey all im new to this forum, and also i dont own a lexus as of yet,but monday morning im going to look at a 2000 gs300, 129k on the dash,seller asking $6k,was wonderign if you experienced folks can tell me if that sounds like a deal?second owner, he purchased in 04 as a cpo, warranty expired at 100k, timing belt done at 99k, any thing in particular i should look for? also from the pics the cars looks in great shape. thanks in advance for any help.

sounds like a good deal especially that the timing belt was already done... just make sure that the normal interval services were done@!!

That sounds like a good deal to me. Make sure the 90k service was done. Also make sure the ball joints were changed. Check to see if the VIN tag is in all the body panels.

Default Update!!

checked out the car and drove it, runs very good but with the hood up and the car running, theres like a ticking noise, is that common on the gs 300's? because i know on my 02 caddy deville theres a standard sound that all those cars have and its considered normal, or should i sugest that the seller take the car to the dealer and have it inspected,seller seems very open and honest,he even said i should go listen to another gs and see if it sounds the same befor i buy his,any suggestions? thanks.
