Saddle Interior Owners?

I just bought a absolute mint 03 Gs Sportdesign with saddle interior ,and was curious how the leather holds up to a person who wears jeans everyday. I had A 98 GS about 7 years ago and the leather was absolute garbage . The jeans pretty much left light blue stain on the drivers seat ,and I am hoping to not have any blue jean coloring left on the saddle leather. I am in love with the saddle leather and find myself feeling it up like a set of double D's. I want to keep the interior leather as mint as possible.

if your getting blue from your jeans onto the leather, tis not your leathers fault, its your jeans. Wash them a few more times before you wear them. I wore fresh ejans and got my white shoess all blue-ish...After a few washes jeans shouldn't contaminate.

I had tan/beige interior in my old Gs and it just left a hint of blue on the seat ,and I could never get the blue color off. I normally wash my jeans twice before wearing them so they should already have all the dyes out of them ,if you guys both say you have had no problems with jeans bleeding on the leather then I am content.

I would have to agree with everyone else so far...with saddle being so much darker than Cashmere you should be alright. However, I would direct you to the detailing section of our forum because those guys can do, clean, and restore some stuff that I didn't even think was possible.

There are a lot of other things that you can do to protect your leather like tinting your windows, maintaining it with top quality products, wiping it down every now and then, etc.
Good luck with your new GS!

Lexol is not a bad product but there are many others out there that are better, specifically Leatherique. I have leatheriqued my saddle interior and it yielded pretty significant results...you can see the thread here:

First off, congrats on the purchase

Yes, leatherique is one of the nicest leather cleaners/conditioners you can buy! The rejuvinator oil is only used about 1-2x a year, but the prestine clean is a wonderful maintenance product that you can use as often as you'd like. Definitely worth checking out... feel free to let me know if you have any questions on the products! http://www.glimmerglassdetailing.com/lepa.html
