Default Airbag light came on randomly?

Was driving down to a meet, and all of a sudden the airbag light came up flashing and has been doing so??
I've not touched anything to do with the system, would re-setting the ECU or disconnecting the battery make it go away, unless there's a new fault?

Any way that I can check what the fault is without taking it to a dealer?
And the link to the meet is below,my GS300,an R34 GTR,and an R35 GTR

As far as I know there is no manual code retrieval available for the Airbag system. You will need to find someone with a quality aftermarket scan tool or a factory scan tool.

Emil, my suggestion is to just take a run at disconnecting the battery. It's a zero cost attempt at resetting it, and will definitely give you information on whether or not you need to take it and get it scanned. If it comes back, it was just a gremlin. If it doesn't, you should be okay. Definitely something to check out, though, since it's safety system related. Keep us posted on how you make out.

Hey Emil,
I know this is an old post, but whatever happened with the airbag light? After an interior color swap, I've got a similar blinking airbag light issue...
Thanks
