Default Questions About Swapping Black Leather Interior to Saddle from Leatherseats.com

Ok so heres the deal I really want Saddle in my Gs but I'm just really skeptical of switching to it cause of the quality of the leather. I have heard that there quality is good from some people and bad from another. Not sure who to believe. I'm planning on calling leatherseats up and asking them for a couple samples. Now thats where another question comes into play, how hard is it to install them. Is it just a normal DIY or does it need to be professionally done. Eventually I am getting Saddle interior in the near future cause I am not really into black even though I have a rare color combo in my Gs which is black with black walnut trim plus Nav, ML.

I've reupholstered the seats in my 1st gen LS with their leather, and wasnt satisfied with the quality of the leather at all, and the fitment wasnt great either.

Since then I had swapped out my seats with LS430's seats and had a local shop reupholster my armrest.

The seats from leatherseats.com involve taking the stock leather off the seats and putting the new leather (
leatherseats.com) seats on the seats

I don't have any experience with the quality of Leatherseats.com, so I won't comment on that. But unless you are a fairly skilled DIY'er with good hands and lots of patience I would leave the install to a skilled upholstery shop. If you rush the job or aren't very skilled you can mess up the leather real quick and then you're out a few hundred bucks.

If you are concerned about their quality you should again look into a local shop that can normally offer different grades of leather and color options. It can get rather pricey though....
