i might be posting this in the wrong section but last night i bought sum 9006 white "xeon" bulbs .. and intalled them looks better then the old ones . now my question is on the box it said that is 100w ithink and my friend said i have to be careful and make sure that it wont burn/melt non of the wires .. can sum one clear things up for me cause if thats the case im jus goin to take them out and go get sum real HIDs .. thank you

You should be using 35w or 55w (can't remember) bulbs. The 100w bulbs will draw too much power and will cause the wires and plug to melt. Check the bulb that you took out the car and use the safe specs.

Take a second look at the packaging too. Some bulb manufacturers, like PIAA and Raybrig, will put claims of higher then normal output on the packaging with things like "55W = 100W." Its just a regular 55W bulb that they feel puts out 100W equivalent lighting.

If this is the case you will be fine.

okay thank you very much fellas i will check tonight but i no that the entire box that the bulbs came in is in sum asian language ... but i will check again.. i no the stock is 55 that wat it said

Just look for numbers... that's universal.

yea i got that lol but the guy up top says some times 50 can be equal to 100 in their languge ??

yup it says its 80w and an arrow pointing to a big 100w so i guess its fake .. i took them out and put mystock bulbs back in b4 some thing didnt go wrong
