Default How Much Does it Cost to Lower Your Car??

So I was wondering how much it costs to lower a 02 Gs. I am stock right now but I am planning on throwin some new rims possibly 17" or 18" and putting spacers on it. Could lowering your car be a DIY or does it need to be professionally done.

depends on what you want...it can be as costless as cutting your springs or it can be as expensive as a system of airbags. If you know how to do it/or know a friend who does, anything can be a DIY

Cutting the springs sounds a lot cheaper how much does it cost or just a rough estimate...

aftermarket springs and struts would be a minimum for me. check the classified section. please don't cut your springs, you have a Lexus. you'll do more harm than good.

NO cutting, look into buying some Coilovers, roughly 300-900 bucks, or you can go with just buying some springs, but trust me your gonna want the benifits of adjusting them--- air ride is also a route, 2-3 thousand bucks

If you cut your spring...it's gonna be expensive. Why? Ride will be horrible and your stock shock/strut will make you pay for it when it blows.

nice.....

for a kid who's got a nice car don't go messing it up by cutting your springs. once you cut it you can't go back unless you want to drop some money. Do it right the first time around.
