kphu: Your car looks like its off to a great start. I got my hub rings on ebay for $10 shipped and they worked out great.

They don't make the HR3 in a 19". Believe me i looked forever for them. The 20's look pretty nice thought and everyone that i have asked who has them say that it requires no fender work.

tinting isn't too bad if you know what your doing. It took me longer on the front two windows because of the curve of the glass but its a matter of patience and alot of soapy water and eventually it conforms.

The rear wasn't too bad because I did it with 3 strips. The didn't want to do the cut out around the rear brake light but i ended up doing it because it was easier to do that then to take the backseats out to get to the 3rd brake light.

I wouldn't tint anyone's car professionally, not worth my time but since its my own ride its a labor of love so I'm willing to do it.

Update: I got the hubcentric rings on and its quieter but I still get the shakes so I'm thinking the shop must of did a bad job on the balance so I'll take them back to check the balance.

Good looking wheels, you just need to drop the car now.

Its kinda funny...these are the wheels I had my eye on. I found this pic before I bought my GS last week.

Anyone have an idea if these are 19s with a drop or 20s?

was there any vibration before you put the wheels on? i had a similar problem where my car would shake intensely between 50 - 60mph, it ended up being a frozen caliber.

Yup their staggered but I opted to go with 245/35 all around. Specs of the wheels I have are Fronts 19x8.5 35 offset, Rears 19x9.5 45 offset

An itsy bitsy vibration on the stock wheels barely noticeable. The vibration is kind of scary with these wheels it makes the steering wheel pulse. I left the car at home today and car pooled with the wife as I won't be able to get to the shop before they close. I'm bringing it to them first thing tomorrow morning.

Question: I noticed on the wheel where they put the weights to balance the tire that the weights aren't in a straight line. I'm thinking that this could cause some balance issue?

Wow...Thats the same size and offsets I was looking at! So you have 245s all the way around? Doesn't the tire side walls apear to look a little different? Just curious...

just noticed the whole shaking issue at 55-60mph. i know a lot of people said hub centric rings and Im sure that is part of the issue but what type of lugnuts are you using? Acorn type? OEM Lexus lugnuts are lug centric and taking that away from the wheel seem to cause us with aftermarket wheel to shake....might help if you have a hub bored out to a Lexus like some BBS wheels.

just my 2cents.
