No, haven't had time to install them yet. Derek did a great job communicating with me and sending them out quikly, but there's still sitting on the top shelf in the back of the garage, still in the boxes. I must add, they are pretty sweet looking in titanium and will look spectacular on my black GS.

Before I put on the wheels I need tires, need to replace my outer tie rods (in transit from Carson), install my RCAs (sitting in the garage), and replace my Tein CS with Bilstein PSS (delivered between 8/14 and 8/17.)

Now the big decision is what tires to go with:

High end <$1,200

- Michelin PS2
- Michelin A/S plus
- Pirelli PZero Nero

On a budget >$1,200

- Nitto Invo (have them on my roadster and love them, not sure about a sedan)
- Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Sport (I think Rock-A-Lex has these)
- General Exclaim UHP
- Hankook Ventus V12 evo K110

I am a FREAK for quietness on the road so I have a bit of research to do. Any suggestions from this list would be greatly appreciated.

I had Michelin PS2s at one point and absolutely hated them, and this is coming from someone who previously owned only Michelin tires. They were loud as hell, rough over everything, and wandered a lot on the highway. They also had relatively poor traction in rain and wet weather.

I switched over to the Bridgestone Turanza Serenity and don't think I will ever go back. They are so much smoother, much quieter, far more stable in the wet, cost much less, and aren't wearing out as fast as the Michelins were. These are, without a doubt, the best tires I have owned.

Thank you for the compliment and tires suggestion. I actually looked into the Bridgestone Turanza Serenity but they don't come in the size I need.

I was gonna vote for the Forgestar wheels also. I love concaved-face wheels. The design looks nice also! Congrats!

you got your little signs the wrong way round. > means greater than, < means less than

great choice on the rims too, i wasnt so much voting from the lip vs concave side of the fence, in all honesty lip *&* concave is best (low disk plus lip) but i just think the forgestars look more elegant and aggressive at the same time (hence all the demo type pics of them on nice euro cars i guess!)

gl with the tyre search, i cant offer much help there

If I had to pick it would be the forgestar, but it looks to euro in my opinion. I wouldn't pick any of them

Dont ever buy generals if you want quiet tires. Hankooks would be your best bet.

100% Agree. My first set of 19in tires were generals. Pretty noisy and wore very quick.
