its a 98- I got it certified preowned
I guess I am sol.
I really don't drive a lot at night. But, it is kind of a letdown. I mean you think you have all of the killer features and then all of the sudden (for no real reason that I know of, like it was not an option on any list i am aware of) you don't. What is irritating is the fact that its a 50K car and it has the same basic lighting as a honda.
But, some hondas come with HIDs now right. So,.. there you go...not even as good as a honda.

heres and idea to make you smile.
get in your car, find a red light, when it turn green floor it, don't slow down until you have to. now go get an automatic civic dx, find a red light, when it turns green floor it, don't worry about slowing down, you'll never get going fast enough to need to

yea the performance almost makes me forget about everything else
and when the GS starts to seem slow. I just go and get my third gen camaro with the 400 and 4.10 gears.

or bought off the lot as is.......w/o HID
quite a few in this neck of the woods w/o them..........let me rephrase......most of the GS4s that I see here are w/o........much as I like mine, they don't make any real difference to my nighttime speed......remember, all our high beams are conventional quartz-halogen

i always heard the only options were 17s,spolier, nav and 6 cdchanger
That's sort of what KBB says. http://www.kbb.com/kb/ki.dll/kw.kc.u...;t&37&4;LE;G1&
It has 17s, the spoiler (no inside third brake light) and changer. I thought it had everything else.
Maybe it was a monday car.

You can get them from a few vendors and retrofit them...
Not too hard. 9006 is probably the most common HID retro-fit kit...Sure you won't get auto-balance but it is a lot better than the 9006 bulbs.

Seemed like a good idea at the time
In 98 Lexus wanted $500 for the Xenon option.
Seemed like a hell of a lot of $ for headlights.
However I'm looking forward to them on my '01 since they're now standard.
